About the Therapists

 Julie Reynolds

CNHP; CMT

A graduate in 2013 at Charter College of Health and Massage Therapy with 800 plus hours of training; almost twice the amount required by the state of Indiana for certification.  That education included many other modalities than Swedish Massage such as Deep Tissue, Positional Release techniques and Pregnancy/Infant Massage, Myofascial release, Lymphatic drainage, Fluid Articular release for the lower body, Nutrition and Digestive Health.

Julie was born in South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the scenic Black Hills State University. After working as a teacher she decided to spent the next 20 years raising her children as a stay at home mom.  She moved with her family to Fremont, IN in 1995.  After completing her "mom" degree she decided it was time to go back to school.

"The reason I chose Massage Therapy as a career was because it gave me the tools to help people in a way that nothing else could."

She joined her daughter in school and became a Massage Therapist.  "Being a M.T. is sometimes like being a detective; a client will come in bringing you a problem they are having and they have some of the pieces that will lead you to the solution.  Then when you palpate the muscle it will give you more information.  The desired result is that the root of the pain will unravel before you!"

Julie and Emily both put themselves through school while working two part time jobs.  Julie worked as a teacher for the physically and mentally handicap at RISE Inc. in Angola and as a cook at Angola Bowl.  Emily also worked at RISE Inc. and at a department store while in school.

 Emily A. Reynolds

CNHP; BCND; CMT; CST

Graduated in 2013 from Charter College of Health and Massage Therapy in Warsaw, IN with almost 900 hours of training which included; Reflexology, Acupressure, Light Touch Treatment, Pregnancy and Infant Massage, Nutrition, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue work, CranioSacral Therapy, Aromatherapy, Positional Release Techniques and stretching. Through the years after graduating she has continued to take further training in many areas to give clients more options such as Myofascial techniques, pH testing, Iridology, Detoxification, Enzyme therapy through the Loomis Institute for Digestive Health.

Before starting at Charter, right out of high school, Emily began her education in Natural Health at Trinity School of Natural Health in Warsaw, IN.  There she earned her degree for Naturopathy Doctor in 2015 then went on a to become a Board Certified ND later that same year.   While in the middle of that course work she and her mother went to massage school at Charter to further gain knowledge of how the body works and how to decrease stress, which is one of the biggest problems that lead to major health issues today.

When at Charter she found that one of the most effective therapies that worked for her personally was CranioSacral Therapy; at which one of her teachers was an advanced therapist in this area.  He encouraged Emily to go and receive more knowledge of the therapy that is now a worldwide treatment in over 40 different counties, because where we find the most healing is where we can find the ability to help heal others in the same way.

That same year she went on to start her education in CranioSacral Therapy and  for the next 12 months she attended two levels if this amazing therapy and began incorporating it into her massage sessions along with other modalities.
